Here’s my new asparagus ‘fern’! I don’t really have any pots this large so I’m using a fancy bowl for now lol

      I have no clue how old it is but if yours isn’t growing you may want to check the roots! I know they grow quickly and appreciate upgrades in pot size (and make sure you’re fertilizing some) ☺️ thank you!

    Arrgghh! Ha ha! Totally! Just looked that one up and looks like the black is only on new emergent leaves. Adult leave look more dark green, grrrr. But still… 😍!

      Unless… could be a variation species snd the name daunhitam is more of a generalized sub-genus depending on where in the world its found. Like the alocasia scalprum. Not just one plant, but dozens with that name. Only one out of all is actually black. They tease us with a picture of the black one, then give us who knows?!
