I am trying to figure out humidity needs for my new prayer plant. When she came home from the store, a few of her leaf tips were brown. A few days ago, I noticed that some of the good leaves were curling slightly at the ends. Two nights ago I got, what I hope is, a brilliant idea: My pepper and tomato seedlings are growing under plastic domes with a warming mat. The last two nights I’ve put the prayer plant under the dome. I’m wondering though if going from that warm and humid environment to my rather dry home during the day is too big of a change. Will it stress the plant? I also am trying a diffuser right next to her during the day. Not sure diffusers produce enough humidity to make a difference. Thoughts?
