Need Help Please, these babies are in my bedroom indirect brite room but one’s leaves are crispy on edges even new leave coming out looks yellow. And my other the leaves look weird

    This plants are very picky, how often are you watering?

      I just fully watered both 1 week ago today till the water dripped out the bottom

    For calatheas, I usually will let the top soil dry out about two inches down before watering again, you can check using your finger which is my favorite method or a chopstick (if the soil is wet it will stick to the chopstick, if the soil is dry the chopstick will come out dry)

    That’s what I did and they were dry on chopstick

      It could always be a lighting issue! Try moving it to a spot with different light but still bright if you can

    I only have 1 area that gets very brite light and it’s my from hall

    Calatheas like more water than other plants in my experience if that helps at all, keep the soil at the bottom of the pot moist at all times. Like they hate to dry out completely

      I have pebble trays under all my calatheas

    Funny my Calathea Makoyana don’t seem to mind my bedroom and I have 4 of them

      Those plants are super stable in my experience, makoyanas are prob one of the easier calatheas. But this one is a bit picker. I’ve noticed if a plant has white or some type of lighter variegation they are more likely to be picky

      But this doesn’t have any white

    The way the leaves are curling and crisping for calatheas usually mean not enough water

      The soil is pulling dirt on chopstick

    Maybe more consistent watering and more humidity, otherwise I’m sorry I don’t know
