   Rain water or distilled or boiled water is a good trick. Prayer plants hate most tap water

     boiling water won’t help with the chemical/mineral levels of your water unfortunately, unless you can condense and use the steam for watering. if rainwater is unavailable, i recommend filtering tap water and treating it with aquarium water conditioner to dissolve any chlorines in the water, this will work for most sensitive plants like marantaceae (prayer plants)
