I have had so much trouble with calatheas and my current one is having a crisis now!! Please send advice šŸŒ±

    Calathea is not for the faint of heart. They need hiiiigh humidity, well draining soil. Water little but often ā€” they donā€™t want to dry out but donā€™t want to stand in water. They are very sensitive to hard minerals in tap water, and can be fussy about repotting. Lotsss of bright indirect light ā€” an east facing window is a great option

    Agree with most of the comments above. Donā€™t agree with ā€œwater littleā€. Every watering should be thorough until water comes out of the drainage wholes to make sure the bottom of the root ball is getting moisture and nutrients. The pot is too big for the size of the plant. The pot should be no more than 1 - 2 inches larger than the root ball. You could probably downsize to a 3 - 4 in nursery pot.

      Got it! It was in that pot because it used to fit it šŸ˜­ will change that today tysm šŸŒ±

    I agree with the others as well but I will add, get a humidifier! I also mist mine in the mornings as well and she lovesss it.

      I have one! I will admit I always forget to turn it on but I will definitely start using it on a regular basis. I am also rearranging my plants after getting this app!!!
