Question! How many maranta prayer cuttings would you put in one pot? I have 6 cuttings. I want a bushy look, but want a thriving system, not overcrowded roots fighting for nutrients. Thoughts are appreciated!

Various sizes and stages of roots, several with secondary roots coming in, and some with roots just starting. If I ended up potting them all I will wait until they all have good roots, or depending on what you guys suggest I could pot the few sooner and not include the youngers

I would pot the ones with secondary roots I would say maybe 2 if they are smaller you could do three but that is pushing it

TessI wanted a bushy look also, this pot has like 8 separate cuttings in it and is happy so far, pushing out several new leaves! I figure it I need to separate back out later I will but if they continue to like it, so do I 🤷♀️

LanceDo you use rooting powder? Or do you just keep the cuttings in water? Was thinking of doing this to my plants!

I’ve never used rooting powder I’ve thought about it because I’ve seen others use it. But I’ve had success in just water. I just let the cutting dry out a little so it doesn’t start to rot, and put them in rain water. It takes a few weeks for secondary roots to really form but I’m patient and they’ve all done great! I also want to note that if I put maranta cuttings in a same spot with others cuttings (like a pothos) the roots grow faster!
