Guys she's dyinggggggg Transplanted her a few months ago and I'm keeping the soil damp but she's unhappy 😢 Any advice?????

    Let her dry out before watering again, she might still be in shock, plants xa go into shock for many months before rebounding, my FLF was in shock for about four months before she popped back

    They love humidity and are very picky about water. I usually do rain water or distilled water. Hope that helps!

    It’s so long and tall! Mine is more compact. Mine like this is in a hallway - I’ve never been sure how much light it’s getting. I water it according to planta. Does your pot have drainage? Mine actually doesn’t but I know it should!

      Yeah, plenty of drainage and light! It's starting to open back up, and my other transplanted rattlesnake has filled in really well, so ig we shall see

    Here is what I found for you 😀 The rattlesnake plant is known to be finicky and sensitive to environmental changes. The unhappiness after transplanting could be due to several factors related to water quality, humidity, soil, or just transplant shock.  Here is some advice for helping your plant recover: • Water Quality: These plants are highly sensitive to minerals, chlorine, and other chemicals found in tap water. Switch to using distilled water, rainwater, or filtered water.  • Watering Routine: While the soil should be kept consistently moist, it should never be waterlogged or soggy, as this can lead to root rot. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure the pot has good drainage.  • Soil and Potting: The plant's roots need good aeration. If the current potting mix is dense, it might be retaining too much moisture. Consider a well-draining mix, potentially amending it with perlite or orchid bark.  • Humidity: Rattlesnake plants thrive in high humidity environments. If your home air is dry, especially after transplanting, this can cause leaf edges to brown or curl. Increase humidity by misting the leaves, using a pebble tray with water, or placing a humidifier nearby.  • Light: Ensure the plant is in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves.  • Temperature: Avoid placing the plant near drafts, vents, or windows with fluctuating temperatures, as they prefer stable, warmer conditions.

    I posted this up above but Mycorrhizal Fungi is amazing! I use it for EVERY plant I bring into my house. Even if im not repotting I still pull the plant out of its pot and sprinkle the roots with Mycorrhizal Fungi... Key Benefits of Mycorrhizae for Plants • Enhanced Nutrient Uptake: Mycorrhizae act as an extended root system, significantly increasing the uptake of phosphorus, nitrogen, zinc, and copper. • Improved Water Retention: The extensive hyphae network helps plants access water from soil pores, improving tolerance to drought and salinity stress. • Disease Protection: Fungi can create a physical barrier and produce protective compounds against soil-borne pathogens. • Better Growth and Establishment: Increased nutrient access leads to higher yields, faster growth, and better survival rates when transplanting.
