hello! very new to plants and i received this prayer plant from my grandmother’s funeral. i overwatered her (her pot was too big!) is this pot too big as well? (5inches) her roots are super small. also, how long should i wait until i water her again? i didnt water after repotting it.
the pot should only be about an inch or two bigger than the root ball, the roots should be able to touch the sides of the pot a little bit. this one is probably also too big. if you're having problems with root rot i would give it a couple days before you water again, but if not, water it when you repot. maranta can also be super fussy about their water, they want distilled water

I’m also new to plants, but I have one of these and I stick her in the bathroom and let her steam for a while. She perks back up. They don’t need to get direct sunlight, they are sensitive. Also try getting a moisture reader from Home Depot.
