   I think your lemon & lime maranta is flowering. It looks like a developing maranta flower bud at the end of a long, thin stalk. Totally normal, and actually a sign your plant is pretty happy. The twisty green bit is the flower itself, still forming. Maranta flowers are usually small and pale purple or white. The stalk looks weirdly stringy but that’s just how marantas roll!! If you’re curious you can leave and it’ll bloom briefly and then fade. Or snip it off if you’d rather the plant put energy into leaves instead but that’s purely a personal preference thing 🙂
