Where are you supposed to cut a prayer plant for propagation? I have tried propagating three different leaves, but to no avail… Or am I just not waiting long enough? I gave it a month to root and it never did :( The picture I included is the prayer plant I tried to propagate, but instead of the Lemon-Lime variety, it was the Red one I tried to propagate…
I usually have more success with mine when there are multiple nodes. Just one and mine are sleepier. :)

Not sure if this is any help but I accidentally broke a piece of my lemon lime, thankfully right below a node (the bump on the stem) and stuck it in water. This is about 3 weeks growth! As long as there is a node you should be good to cut below it and place in water.
You’ll want to cut a half inch or so below the node. Look for these joints on the trailing branches. The red lines are about where you would want to cut.
