So... I read that goeppertia & calathea like to be snug in their pots, and that they should be repotted in spring/early summer, but I have an orbifolia that is getting to be ridiculously oversized for its pot now. It hasn't completely filled its available space yet, but the individual leaves are huge, to the point it's getting way too easy to knock it over. Can I repot it this late? Do I leave it for the autumn/winter, and find a small heavy cachepot for it?
I don’t have an orbifolia, but do have had white fusion for a few years now. I prefer to repot them while they are actively growing instead of the winter. IMO, I think it’s OK to repot at this time. My fusion is putting out a lot of growth right now.

I’ve always heard spring/summer is best but I repotted my calathea just a week ago and going to risk it. I’m sure if you don’t change anything else in its environment, it would bounce back. But I’m a risk taker like that! Lol
