Got this striped calathea a little while back… it’s been curling since I got it. I thought it might be a humidity issue so I decided to put it in the bathroom, but it hasn’t helped. I’ve also been misting it every other day and I’ve been watering it according to planta. It’s next to a window that gets bright indirect light. One of the leaves has also just decided to flop over and start journeying sideways. Is there anything I can do to help it? All of my other calatheas are thriving and this is new to me 😢

    Check for pest, they will curl their leaves is pest are present, if there is too much light, if their thirty or if their roots are not getting enough oxygen. It's a game of eliminating. Since it is new in your plant family I would start with pests.

      I’ll check for pests first and definitely give some water. I can also move it back further on the counter so it gets more shade. I’ll do it step by step so I can figure it out, thx! 😊

    I believe this plant prefers distilled water!

      Yea I’ve been watering with distilled and I’ve made sure it’s warm water 😭 she’s very fussy
