What soil would you recommend for this baby (lemon lime)? Also, its newest leaves seem to be a lighter colour than the others, is this normal?

JayI cant give advice about soil since i grow mine in water, but i will say water with distilled water, or get some of the fish tank liquid that gets rid of stuff like chlorine in water, and the leaves being lighter is normal, its just young leaves theyll mature to the older leaves colors eventually

Just wow!! Mine are in self watering pots with a chunky aroid mix since I couldn’t seem to get the watering quite right with my two. They have far less browning tips now.

Plant Fathermake sure you use rainwater or similar purer water for this plant, prayer plants are very sensitive to chemical additives and excess minerals in their soil. dry air can cause crispy leaves so it’s worth getting a humidifier if you know your home is dry

i use an airy mix for my prayer plants (different species with similar needs), it’s about 60% organic matter like coco coir, worm castings, and fir bark chips, and 40% grit like pumice and perlite
