my first rattle snake!! I have a peacock one that is doing ok, any tips for the rattlesnake or is it pretty much the same as the peacock? :) thanks!

Plant Fatherrattle snake calathea are supposedly the easiest to grow, so if your peacock plant is doing fine this one will probably do well for you too

that is so good to read omg haha Planta app says it’s “hard” and peacock is “medium” so I was scared. I repotted it into a well draining mix and just watered with filtered water. Hopefully she will adjust fine :)

Women are WaterI wish they say specifically why some plants are hard and medium. I think that would be helpful. On a side note. I can’t help but look at this plant and thing…wow! Look what nature made! It’s just amazing.

Me too! I get that too… I promised myself NO MORE CALATHEAS after killing a triostar haha but when I saw this one I couldn’t resist it looked so perfect! I will have better chances with this one. The triostar I got was sold for $5 at a dollar store and it had root rot, it hust got worse and died. I cleaned the roots and repotted what was left from the bulb, might come back on spring or maybe is really lost. This one looks healthy so hopefully I can keep it that way
