I’m not sure what’s going on with my plant. I’ve had it since September. I bought one with it and it died of fungus. They were right next to each other. Could this one have a fungus as well? It gets bright indirect and I’m consistent with the watering schedule. I’m not sure what else there is to do. Please help.
what type of water are you using? prayer plants are incredibly sensitive to the added chlorine/chloramine and fluoride in most public water systems. they are also sensitive to excess minerals in tap water. filtering and treating your tap water with aquarium water conditioner is one of the best ways to remedy this. you can also collect rainwater for these plants

0개 좋아요 it looks relatively healthy despite the yellow patches. i’d recommend flushing the soil as soon as the top 1/2” or so has dried. be sure to pour lots and lots of water over the top, as purer water will grab onto the excess chemicals/minerals in the soil and help it drain away. over time, hopefully once there is lots of new growth, the affected leaves will likely die off. i wait until they’ve turned completely brown before trimming
