Calathea 🆘. I have moved my calathea further from the window and started to get some returning pink and less bleached leaves so I think it is happy light wise. After a rookie mistake of watering it with tap water a couple times when I first got it I’ve been watering it with distilled water for the last few months. I’m still losing leaves and have a lot of brown/crispy looking parts. What do I prune? Is this just normal life cycle or am I still missing something? I just want the beautiful leaves 😍 (bonus puppy toe beans and snoot đŸ¶â€ïžđŸƒ)

    It does look like there may have been more than one issue going on with it, but it’s hard to tell with the old damage on it. It’s probably best to cut off all those mostly-brown leaves at this point, and trim off any brown tips or edges on mostly-healthy leaves, if you can do so. Then it’s easier to observe if any issues are still occurring and it will be easier to tell what they might be. Good luck! It can be challenging to get the hang of calatheas, but once you find your groove, they’re so rewarding.
