Hi all, I’ve bought my plant around 2-3 weeks ago and although the tag says to water it 2x a week, Planta app said it should be every 12 days, so I’ve been keeping an eye on it so it’s not too dry. I’ve noticed however a few yellow leaves and even with the infrequent watering (making sure the soil is not damp), Planta app said i’ve overwatered my plant. Does anyone know if this is indeed the case?
It looks like the yellow leaves are toward the bottom, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much… esp if all else looks healthy. Just trim those off. These tend to shed leaves here and there. I’d recommend erring on the side of underwatering vs over, so it sounds like you’re on the right path. 🌿

I wouldn’t use a watering schedule. I use the app as a reminder but I check the soil with my finer, chopstick if the pot is big or moisture meter. Watering will depend on how much light it’s getting. So make sure you’re not over watering. Also use filtered or bottled water if you can. They are super sensitive. 🪴
