Haha thank you! I grow all my indoor plants in semi-hydro and I would never go back to soil! Definitely recommend! If you’re interested in learning I highly recommend looking up The Leca Queen on YouTube - she has a great beginner playlist ☺️

Wow, beautiful! Mine is having a hard time right now, some drooping leaves & some dry yellow parts at the end of some leaves. Some of the roots are also coming out of the drainage so it probably need a bigger pot? Any recommendations? Has yours always been in shade? Mine is part light, part shade so maybe thats not great. Thanks 🙏

If possible I strongly recommend putting it in pon and a self watering pot. It’s how I keep all my prayer plants and they’re thriving. Mine used to sit under a grow light but I don’t think she liked it, she only started thriving when I moved her to a north facing window

Motoxgirl17Hi Paulina! Super interested in the steps you took to recover your Jungle Velvet! Did your originally come to you in soil? I have used semi-hydro in the past. At what point did you switch yours to semi-hydro? Mine is in BAD shape. Trying to save it. Just made my first post about mine.

It came in soil as a quite large plant and I switched it to leca straight away. It did alright in that but didn’t thrive so I switched it to pon. It had a drama moment and dropped all leaves but one, thought she was a goner for a minute but she’s recovered and now looks like the does on the pic above ☺️ I do prefer pon to leca if you’re gonna do semi-hydro for calatheas
