This is Pomodoro! My beautiful prayer plant. She’s super healthy and her leaves are glossy but when I was checking her soil today I saw this white patch of what I think is mold/fungus? It’s not coming from the fertilizer stick because it’s on the opposite side of the pot. I’m not sure what to do and I’m so worried Pomodoro could get sick as a result.
That is mold, you’re right. Wash all the soil out of its roots, clean the pot, and start fresh. What’s your soil blend? Something chunkier with less actual soil is best for these. They want to be moist but the water has to stay fresh - finicky!

1 like I like a mix of coco coir, fir bark, worm castings (2:2:1) - you can buy a premixed calathea blend for convenience that will have about the same in it!

1 like Looks ready for a new pot, honestly! And if you’re nervous about the resurgence of the mold, a little sprinkle of cinnamon would help in the new pot/mix

You can also get an anti fungus spray. For the future, I spray it on the soil once a month to prevent mold.
