I assembled my IKEA Rudsta cabinet over the weekend and just added some plant babies 💚 I’m so excited to see how my plants take to the greenhouse life! Going to be a fun experiment — and an excuse to buy more plants :)

Just wanted to ask anyone with the Milsbo tall about your shelving. I think I’m going to have to pull the entire thing apart and reorganize the layout bc valuable real estate is being missed. And I want to upper level to get much more humidity than it currently is. Anyone with pics of their empty set up?

Can anyone recommend their favorite (inexpensive, I’m poor) small humidifier? I have the Baggebo IKEA cabinet. It’s not very big, only 4ft x 13in wide, so I’m working with very limited room💔!
I had the one in the picture and it worked super, super well until I cleaned it and now it isn’t working at all 🥲

Hey y'all! I’m wondering what everyone does to prevent pests in their cabinets. It’s such a confined, humid space that if you have a pest outbreak in there, it’s gonna be catastrophic

Hello everyone! This is my antique plant cabinet that I set up about month ago. Absolutely loving it and I think the plants are too. Only thing I'm noticing is the humidity doesn't get above 60. I keep the fan running 24/7 to avoid fungal issues. Any tips for increasing the humidity? Thank you in advance! 🥰

I have a greenhouse cabinet that my monstera is too big for. She’s doing fine but added humidity would really kick start her growth! I’m wondering if anyone has any tricks or DIY hacks for a humidity box or something to help keep humidity high for her!

How does everyone battle powdery mildew and mold issues in their cabinets? My humidity is above 90 and I can’t seem to get rid of these two!! I have tried hydrogen peroxide treatments, and grow safe. Nothing works!! Help!

I got this cabinet for Christmas and I’m debating if I should keep this or get a larger one. I’m unsure if it’ll fit all the necessary equipment needed to be able to function as a greenhouse. If anyone has had success with this cabinet, or a similar one please let me know tips on how you made it work! :)

i am a greenhouse and grow light newb. what is consider bright indirect light with grow lights? i understand distance from the light plays a factor but at what distance is the light considered direct/indirect, bright/low light? here’s a picture of my cabinet from a week or so ago, has since been reorganized due to some sun damage on leaves 😅

Greenhouse losing humidity
I have one of the IKEA cabinets that I’m using as a greenhouse. I’ve had it for months and the humidity inside has always been about 90% without a humidifier nor any kind of sealant. A few weeks ago, I added some small fans to create more air circulation. I noticed a decrease in the humidity but figured it was because of the air flow. So then I turned the fans off and the humidity still did not increase.
Is it possible that there is less humidity because the weather is getting colder outside? I’m in Chicago so we’re averaging about 40 degrees this time of year, but obviously the heat is on in my house. Now, I’ve started using a humidifier in the cabinet but it still hovers around only 60% and the inside gets way too wet.
Does anyone know how I could fix this?

Getting my babies ready for bed this winter. Still have a few that are on my back porch to add when the temperature drops, but that’s not really a big problem here in Alabama. I love my little greenhouse, truly is my happy place.❤️
