Hi folks! Just finished assembling my Milsbo, but I’m definitely not going to fit anything useful through the tiny hole in the back. What have y’all done to put in a bigger porthole? Any recommend resources online? TIA! Cabinet plant installation in progress!
I am using a Fabrikor wide, it’s still somewhat in progress but also in use— anyway, my wires go out the front at the bottom of one of the doors, hinge-side. No idea if that would work in a Milsbo, but I like the tiny smidge of fresh air it allows and I didn’t have to drill a hole. (Which I did not want to do) I don’t use a humidifier (but am going to add a small fountain to see how that is)- and humidity stays 75%, no weather strips either. If you don’t mind the look it might be functional for you. Or not!
If you learned how to solder or even use wire nuts you could get a wire through 😈
좋아요 1개I drilled the whole in the top of my Milsbo tall and put a grommet on it so the sharp edges don’t cut the wires. Used a hole drill bit on an electric drill. There are kits on amazon storefronts from other plant people and Reddit has some good advice too!
