I just got a plant shipment today that came so quickly that the heat packs were still hot! I put them under the blanket and my cat, Pixie, immediately curled up on top of them 😸 She’s got one under her cheek like a warm pillow in this picture 🥰

Anyone in the SF Bay Area? I recently got 2 kittens and now I have no choice but to sacrifice some of my plant babies (the ones that are toxic to pets, and must be indoors) in order to protect my furbabies 🥺 Idk if this is the right group to post this is in, but I just want my precious plants to go to a loving home so maybe someone here knows someone or can offer some advice. Some big ones are for sale and little ones are free. All potted in colorful ceramic/resin planters. Fiddle leaf fig, monstera, calla lily, peace lily, hedgehog aloe, cylinder snake plant etc. I also have a bunch of gardening supplies and stuff I no longer need. I could use some advice/guidance about cats vs. plants too! First time cat-person.

Guilty… Wondering if cat grass would help- but my only issue is the fact that I am positively reinforcing my cats to eat a plant.. I am confused. If I allow my cat to eat cat grass- a plant- how exactly will it help? Just curious… It is a very difficult job to keep my cats on the right trail; the trail that leads away to my plants. Thanks!

My very first plant.. my peace lily had to be put into a vase of water yesterday after I found little white bugs crawling deep within her soil! 😬 Nothing was on the surface, but I noticed the past couple weeks her new growth was deformed.. and couldn’t figure out why. I’m assuming from the bugs.. either way she will be staying in water.
