   I have a massive spider plant that my cat likes to play with. I intentionally put it in the way of my other plants so that she wouldn’t bother them . I did this since the spider plant is nearly indestructible and safe for cats. If you want to keep your spider plant away from your cat, they make excellent hanging plants and can be hung out if the cats reach.

   I have my spider plants on the floor under a grow light. I wouldn't mind the cat chewing on them, except that they are so small. And I guess it really isn't doing much damage, it just doesn't look very nice when every leaf looks like its been hacked off by a weedeater.😂

   My cat lawn mowers my spider plant. Turns out that even though they’re non toxic, they’re mildly hallucinogenic, and my cat loves getting high asf i guess. I trimmed it a bit and I regularly spray it with “bitter apple” spray. she still chews it sometimes but she doesn’t fully eat it anymore

   Thats a good idea. I've been keeping a spray bottle by them so if I catch her at it I can give her a squirt.

   Spider plants are nontoxic to cats and they induce a hallucinogenic effect on them. If you're really worried about it put the spider on a tall shelf or maybe try a hanging pot.

   We always hung our spider plants from the ceiling or curtain rods, the cats were so chewy on ours. Good luck to you and all the babies!
