Hello! My cat ate all the leaves off of my begonia ferox while I was sleeping 😥 does anyone know if they can still grow healthy leaves after being chomped? And what I should do to nurse her back to health? Thanks in advance!

    Make sure that one leaf left gets plenty of light, that’ll be the only way it can absorb energy at the moment.

    Keep your eye on the cat too as Begonias are toxic and cause burning sensation in mouth and stomach if ingested. Take your cat to the vet or call them if the cat starts to drool, vomit, not eating, or show lethargy. Another cat owner who likes to chomp on plants here...

      Oh nooo I will keep an eye out thank you!!!! I had no idea. She has been totally fine though thankfully!

      LOL I was definitely upset but more at myself since I left it out. They don't usually, but I have seen them try to eat plants before so I should've known 😭😂

    Put it in a plastic bag near sunlight where it can stay humid and the humidity helps the plant grow fast. Also, it would keep your cat away from it for a while. Lol.
