I have three cats. This is the first time one knocked a plant over. When I screamed only one ran. I wonder who did it? And yes, the toilet seat is his safe spot hiding from his younger brother. So naturally Nanook ran there.

AdrianRIP for your poor plant. Hope it didn’t get too damaged from the fall. My mom knocked my pilea over yesterday and I was more worried about the little clay hedgehog cover pot it was in 😂 this might sound a little random, but the plant you have ID’d as a jade plant in your living room is actually a klenia petraea, or “trailing jade”. They’re similar in appearance, thus the common name. Just wanted to let you know in case Planta recommends different care instructions for it. I’ve got one myself 😊

Plant was fine, only need to vacuum. And with the nice catch with my jade, I needed to move it. I needed more light. So thanks again.

No problem! I really love my trailing jade, but don’t see a lot of other folks with them on this app. Mine’s been very low maintenance, so I hope yours treats you as well as mine does 😊

Mine has been doing great. I did drop it a few months ago when I was cleaning and two branches broke off… I keep apologizing to her. She’s a little lopsided now but ok.

I’m sorry to hear that! Mine fell over and down the front steps during a repot and I wanted to cry. I feel ya. I was excited to see her turn a cool light purple color in the summer ☀️ hope yours grows three branches back to replace the two it lost, then! 😊
