I just bought some daffodils, andI was excited, until I learned they were pet toxic. I have three cats and a dog. I really want to own these, but I’m kind of worried. Does anyone have any opinions on what I should do? Or advice so that I can keep it? Anything would be helpful 😊
I have several non-pet friendly plants — my best advice would be to either spray pets with water when they go near it to teach them a negative reinforcement of the daffodils. They also sell plant-safe spray that you can spray on the leaves that taste awful to pets so, if they do try to eat them, they’ll immediately recoil and keep away from them in the future :)

Hi! I’m an ER specialty technician that works closely with toxin cases. I suggest just getting rid of them. They cause quite bad GI signs if ingested as any part of the plant. Lilies and true palms are of course the worst plant you could have. If your pet ever consumes any part of a plant or is near lily pollen please call the ASPCA poison control line and head to the nearest ER :)

좋아요 1개 No, specialty is animals. Bunnies have very specific plants they can eat and they are so prone to munching freely that I would heavily research which plants you can have with them.
