I need help! How do I teach my kittens (i have 3) to not eat or knock over my plants. They have cat grass but... I just don't know please send help.

    If you figure it out, let me know 😂 Once I started acquiring cats (3 years ago) I had to completely change my plant setup. Now everything's away from the windows and either high enough the cats can't reach or in a cabinet lol

    Try your best to put within reach only the cat grass and herbs that cats won't touch. Mint, basil, oregano are good. After a couple of weeks, they might assume that all plants except the cat grass is yucky. Hopefully, your kittens aren't good jumpers yet. Good luck!

    A mix of neem oil, rubbing alcohol and water oil on the leaves and stems. Makes it smell not super appealing to them, anytime they get near to smell them, chew, even get near your plants, use a spray bottle and eventually they will just be scared of the spray bottle and when you whip it out, they will sprint away😂 ( can you tell that’s what I do lmfao)

      I also don’t let my cats in my plant area without any supervision and eventually they will learn that they aren’t allowed to go in without someone. anytime I leave, I close the door and if I forget, they will still choose a different room to lay in as they have been trained not to go in there alone.
