Have a red foot tortoise wondering if any one has any plants they would recommend for her?

    The only ones I know of are Mallow, Clover, a lot of grasses, hibiscus, dandelions. Tortoise are SO rough on plants though. But some of these do add in some nice foraging for them. I will say, I don't collect from outside, and when doing enclosures I try to get seeds. That way I know no pesticides or synthetic fertilizer were in them. The other option being buy a plant, completely spray it down and repot it in New organic media, and let it hang out for like 6 months to make sure all systemic pesticides or fertilizer are gone.

    I have some aloe in w my red foot and she hasn’t destroyed it yet. The humidity is ofc very wrong but it s one of the few she won’t destroy

    Do you use the tortoise table app? It’s not the most easy to navigate but is helpful.
