Rubber plants are toxic to cats- mildly toxic but still toxic

Depends on what rubber plant the ficus yeah they are toxic the Obtusifolia which is baby rubber plant and is a peperomia are not reported as being toxic . I think the Misunderstanding is you were talking about the peperomia type but just referred to it as rubber plant . 🙂

Not talking about the ficus rubber plant the peperomia Obtusifolia which goes by baby rubber plant.

MackenzieIt’s great to have many options for non-toxic plants, though I have 3 cats and have had zero issues of them eating my toxic ones. I believe they can smell that it’s toxic, so at least for me they completely ignore them.

I’m also lucky enough to have 2 cats that aren’t interested in eating them . They do however use it as their jungle lol

Mother of PlantsAwwww, gorgeous cats! I have a female tuxedo cat too, I’m usually very careful what I buy which is mostly cactuses but I always check with Planta just to be safe.

PlantLadyPeperomias, ferns, and Pileas are all nontoxic to cats.
