I can see an extremely tiny insect on the underside of my monstera leaf! It's so small I can't tell what it is since there are a few "tiny white plant pests" and I wanted to get some advice on what they are and what to do!

    Aphids? i think? Repot if able with new soil. clean the plant in the shower to hose it down completely and then spray w an appropriate mix of water, Castile soap, and a small amount of alcohol. check all plants too!

    They're long and move very fast, not round like a mite or scale

    Do I need to wash the roots as well if I'm washing the plant and repotting? I've never had to wash a plant !

    Those look like thrips to me. Aphids are usually plumper and move slowly. I'd recommend spraying with neem oil or insecticidal soap
