So I never knew that aloe was dangerous for animals until I googled. My cats have abused my aloe plants in the past and I never saw any adverse effects. But now that I know it’s bad for them I’m freaking out. Is it super deadly or will it just make them sick?
I have no answer but my cats have also been eating my aloe, nothing seems to be wrong

My cat likes to eat my dragon trees and my big red bird anthurium. But all of them are toxic to cats, but she ( the cat) doesn’t seem to get sick at all. Maybe they aren’t eating enough?
1 mi piaceSometimes “toxic” includes irritating the lining of the stomach. This means maybe your cat has thrown up or had a more runny stool that you just didn’t notice or realize was from the aloe. Toxic doesn’t have to mean deadly, especially if they’re not eating a ton of it. Kitty is probably all good, just had an uncomfortable tummy here and there :)
