My cat is trying to eat this plant!!! What do I do??? I believe it’s a corn plant but I’m not sure.

    you move it away from your cat’s reach.

    Move it away, or get a glass dome over it for protection. Home goods sells giant glass vases, i flip them upside down and put them over plants I don’t want my cats to bother. There’s also cloches, but they’re pretty spendy, in my area at least.

    I would be super carful with some. Some plants can kill them if eaten.

    That looks like a dracaena, yes. That is EXTREMELY POISONOUS TO CATS. So get it out of your cat’s reach (which could be hard!) or throw it out. It’s gorgeous but not worth hurting your kitty.

    My cats used to do this with all of my plants! Move it to a separate room and shut the door so the cats can’t get to it. You can move it from the room and back to its usual spot after a few weeks and see if your cats are still interested in it. Mine weren’t.

    I found that by growing or buying fresh cat grass and setting it in a location accessible, it kept my cat happy eating that instead of my other plants. I’d recommend having 2-3 small pots to keep in rotation so the grass can grow

    I invested in a spray bottle. …. For the cat. They learned not to touch the plants. Sometimes cats bite the leaves and tear them but dont actually eat them. But keep ur eyes out for the safety of both the kitty and the plant baby 👀
