My cat finally found out that spider plants are hallucinogenic 😫 so I took off almost all of the damaged pieces and put it in a new pot so I can hang it up. Also, I can’t be the only one when something happens with a plant my first thought is “ooo maybe this means I deserve to go get a new plant!” She looks so bare and scraggly now and she was juuust getting to a point where it looked like a whole plant and not just cuttings from a friend a couple month ago… but now we restart and hopefully get lots of new leaves!

    I think this is definitely the right app to be asking “Wait, if this one dies, I DESERVE a new plant right?” You’ll find plenty of plant-enablers here!! But also, your spidey will bounce back. ❤️‍🩹 My cats have pulverized mine and gave my ponytail palm a bowl cut 😤 But after hanging/putting on a high tier, they’re both doing great!

      Yess I am a plant enabler too haha! And thanks hopefully it’ll grow quick since it was growing pretty well before it was attacked

      She’s gorgeous!! 😍 Prayer plants are simultaneously my favorites and the bane of my existence 😅 I’ve had the best luck with ones with larger leaves like yours since they’re easier to clean when they inevitably get spider mites. Is this your first calathea?

    My spider plant lost all leaves from the cold.. but within weeks it bounced back and it’s even more lush than before!! It’s also in a low light environment, where they don’t thrive, and it’s still growing like crazy!

      That’s incredible! It’s like a phoenix 🤩 mine is in bright indirect sun and Planta says it’s too dark but it was doing really well before last night

      He definitely enjoyed it, I saved the leaves I took off so I can give him little bits of it at a time
