My family and I put a down payment on a male Netherland dwarf rabbit and he’ll be eight weeks old when we are able to pick him up. will be able to get him over April break! And was wondering what kinds of food based plants I can get for him for me to grow that he can eat in the future when he grows up a bit
Well he won’t be able to eat veggies or fruits for a while but when he is able to a good one to start him on would be romaine lettuce never iceberg and my bunnies favorite fruit is strawberry’s but he’ll only eat them sliced up lol
좋아요 1개 What should I feed them when we first get them because we’ve had 7 bunnies before, but we’ve been feeding them adult rabbit hay and pellets so I wasn’t sure if we should get something else

Rabbits love their leafy greens! 😁 Some that should be fairly easy to grow are romaine lettuce, mustard greens, and some leafy kitchen herbs (you should double check which kinds exactly. It’s been a while since I lived with my roommate who rescues buns). They also like things like carrot tops, but despite popular belief the orange part of the carrot is not very good for them. They’re sensitive to high sugar, even the kind that naturally occur in some fruits and veg
