Wolfen 🐺Whenever I've had live terrarium or palladium set ups, I've always utilized spring tails and isopods. I plant them, I don't use pots. With a bioactive set up you shouldn't have to do much maintenance at all. Other than trimming back the plants, depending on what kind they are. Thats what the clean up crew is for.

You'll definitely lose some of the isopods with crested. My Whites take out some of the dairy cows i have in there. But I just provide a lot of ground cover for them to hide in. "The Defiant Forest" has some great natural additives, like leaf litter and bark (that they can also feed off of). The dairy cows are kind of a medium variety. There's also some Dwarf variety, that can hide better. And check their environment requirements. As some are temperate and some are tropical. Bugs in Cyberspace also has a nice selection and really good info just for research. He also has some adorable beetle and velvet ant species if you're into bugs at all lol
