Is anyone else’s cat obsessed with their plants? Mine doesn’t even try to eat them, she just likes to sit with them, and she rubs her head against my money tree’s pot all the time. If I put anything in her way, she will knock it down so she can sit with my plants🤣
I don’t have a cat, but I have a shih tzu who acts a lot like one. She doesn’t care much for my houseplants, but she has to sniff every new flower, leaf, tree, twig, and weed she spots on our walks. Very easily distracted by the outdoor flora and fauna, but once I let her give any new plants I bring in a good sniff, she couldn’t care less about them 😂 (I appreciate that, though, cause she’s curious about most other things, so I’m glad that at least my plants are safe from her)
1 j'aime That’s a really cute habit for your cat to have, though. Most of the people I come across with cats on this app try to ask how to get their cat to avoid their plants to keep them from eating or knocking them over. I know a lot of cats enjoy sunbathing, so maybe if you have enough space for a small cushion, pillow, or folded blanket to lay out for yours, yours might turn it into a little sunbathing spot 😊 My dog likes to sunbathe during her naps right in front of the south windowsill where most of my plants are, so I’ve been meaning to get her a little bed or cushion to lay on.

When I let my cat on my balcony he likes to sit in my apricot tree pot. And every time I bring a new plant home he must do a thorough investigation. 😆
