Can you put a house plant fern in a fish tank? Like completely submerged in water or is there a specific type of plant that looks like a fern that you’d put in there? Currently trying to think through what my Aquascape would look like before I start to make it. Also, any plants that are allowed to go in there? Can Monstera be put in a fish tank? Not completely submerged, but like the roots and part of the stem.
I don’t think a regular fern would make it submerged. But some fern-like aquatic plants are java fern, water sprite, water wisteria, and bolbitis. Monstera can grow with the roots dangling in the water. So can pothos, peace lily, and tradescantia. I would choose according to the size of your tank since monstera deliciosa and peace lilies can get huge
