   As far as I know, they best way would be to keep it where your cat can’t get it. Once cats find something fun, it’s hard to get them to leave it alone. You can leave the leafs

   Seconded. I have three cats. You probably don’t need to worry about the leaves that kitty bit unless they start looking really bad. But definitely the only deterrent would be to move it.

     Have you tried cayenne pepper? I saw on TikTok that it helps.

     I’m sure it does…. But I am very hesitant to let my babies ingest that. It’s basically pepper spray. I’d rather have a torn up plant than kitty with a torn up digestive tract 🤷🏻‍♀️

   Spray your calathea with diluted lemon juice. Cats don’t like the smell or taste of citrus so they’ll leave it alone. Works like a charm in my cat. Don’t worry this isn’t harmful to your cat
