My 5 month old kitten enjoys jumping up to “grab” one of the leaves of my cast iron plant. Any advice on how to discourage this? She has shredded one leaf already.

    I think try distracting the kitten with other toys, as she grows she could grow out of playing with plant leaves. Having other options to occupy her might be the best way to divert her energy and attention.

      Oh there are toys, lasers, even a second kitten to distract her but she’s determined. I’m hoping the plant survives until she gets bored with it.

      The price we pay for our furry friends😂 my two did outgrow their plant destroying phase so hopefully your plants and cats will coexist peacefully soon. Best of luck 🍀🤞
