Do anthuriums tend to do better on moss poles? Iâve got a regale hybrid, magnificum, warocqueanum, and a crystallinum all in 1 inch pots. I was curious if they would do well on mini moss poles. Itâs my first time owning them so any advice helps!
Got my first anthuriums today! I was wondering how far they should be from my grow light. Currently all 4 are in 1 inch pots. Iâve got a regal hybrid, magnificum, crystallinum, and warocqueanum. They are in my bathroom currently and Iâve ordered a humidifier that should be here in a few days. The lights are 60 Inch, 24W 192 LED Full Spectrum. I currently have it on 5/9 intensity and they are about 14 inches away. Any advice would help, thanks!
So this is a first for me. My dress turned all white but the tiny chonk is still green. I got it as a tiny seedling and the only thing I had changed was adding systemic because I was battling thrips. Has anyone had this happen? There were no thrips on this one, it was in an entirely closed container. I have other seedlings of similar size on the same shelf without the bleaching.

A newbie and a beautiful emergent! Itâs almost spring around here!
This is my first Anthuriam that I just got a week ago from the Mr. Iâm unsure if the browning is normal due to adjustment for them, age, etc. She typically gets morning, east facing, bright light (rarely direct as Iâm also new to TX) and than whatever she can soak up the rest of the day. She is still showing new growth coming in. She was watered 48 hours ago with 6 ice cubes per directions on the plant. đ Any suggestions or things I should watch out for? She also has yet to be named. Thank you in advance.

My queen of hearts is breaking my heart. When lizzy arrived she had this and itâs been playing in my mind. Hindsight I shouldnât have swapped her over to semi hydro whilst this has occurred but since semi hydro sheâs given me a baby leaf. Any ideas?
i recently lost half of this plant to yellowing leaves and mushy roots. suspected root rot? enough though i have her in a very well draining mix and water once about every 10-14 days.. i got her two months ago from Sprouts and she keeps getting smallerđđ at the moment sheâs seems stagnant but this leaf in particular keeps crisping/yellowing upwards. i have no pests to my knowledge (my sticky traps are clean, i use a neem wash biweekly). in the current plant shelf setup this leaf is facing away from the growlight, idk if that matters. any clue what it is and how i could help/prevent it?:( this is my first anthurium and i want to learn how to treat them correctly!!đ thank you:)

Have been diving into anthuriums and hybrids etc. I saw this cool rainbow anthurium besseae and want to pick one up. I see them available online but not sure if all of them have iridescent leaves or if there is a particular one thatâs known for their rainbow leaves. Any help is appreciated
Iâm curious what people think will happen. I had a pterodactyl anthurium awhile ago. It had three big leaves that get really brown and crispy. I think it flowered⊠at least it shot up two seed pod looking things. Since the leaves kept getting more brown and crispy, one day about 6 weeks ago, I impulse chopped them off. I had already repotted it and the roots were really healthy. I had moved it to get more humidity too but it never seemed really happy. Anyways, the stump is brown now. Iâm still watering it and I have it by a grow light. Chances that it will come back? Ps Iâve learned my lesson.

QUESTION!!! Pest? đ Thrips? Sheâs been quarantined and treated twice with Bonide Super Soap. I donât SEE any more potential bugs on her at this point. Can I use a spray like Paige Tailynâs âSexy Plant Sprayâ on her or is that a poor choice for velvety anthuriums?
Price is finally to the point where I felt good about buying a baby delta force. May the force be with me!
