hi everyone! just picked up this girl from a plant sale. obviously she has some damage, im guessing sunburn- but her roots look good and theres new growth. this is my first anthurium- does anyone have tips re: best soil mixes? i checked for bugs but dont see evidence of any. cheers!
Just my 2 cents, but……..I converted most of my adult anthuriums over to semi-hydro/pon. Most of the anthurium breeders I follow will use tree fern with seedlings but transition older ones to pon. It also saves on watering as all of mine are in self watering pots with wicks and only have to water every three to four weeks. I only mist leaves every few days being careful to not mist new leaves.
