Hey! First time posting in here so thanks for having me Iâve just purchased this âanthurium crystallinumâ today.. however Iâve been looking at photos and it looks quite different to a crystallinum. Someone said it may be a regale x crystallinum hybrid. Any thoughts?
It does have the look of a crystallinum. But also giving forgetti 'White stripes' but that has a closed sinus. Unfortunately anthurium do not line breed in any type of fashion lol. If you get 100 seeds from even a 'self' pollination. A good majority of the plantlets can look different. And one person's line of crystallinum will not always look like anothers. It's why you see crosses that people name so often, even when it's a cross that's been done before and has a name.
1 gillaI get what you mean, the plant shop had about 20 that looked the same labelled as âcrystallinumâ but it looked so cute I couldnât resist even though it didnât have the round heart shaped leaves a crystallinum has - very intrigued as this is my first ever anthurium so itâs all new haha
1 gilla Are they Doc Block anthurium? I ask because he also Tissue cultures clones. Which allow for a uniform look usually. Anthurium are going more and more into TC and though they can still look different in a variety, often they will tend to be more uniform

0 gillningar Gotcha. He has some pretty specific tags that are large. But there are also other greenhouses that do anthurium TC
