Hello my fellow âspending my pay check on extremely expensive anthuriumâ people, whatâs ur most expensive/fav anthurium right now? Itâs a competition but as of now I think itâs gonna be my anthurium âdark phoenixâ spend 200 on this bad boy, puts out a beautiful big leaf every month :>
I always buy small ones, most were around $15. My most expensive one was $40. But I see anthurium in the $100-150 range that are so tempting. Maybe one day lol

This is me on any regular day. Mostly because Iâve found if I buy them small they have a better chance of acclimating to MY environment.

I want a dark phoenix so bad! I just made a post about how I might try to find one for my birthday later this year lol. Iâm still new to anthuriums so Iâve only really purchased starters and seedlings. My most expensive seedling was around $30 which was a Magnificum x Luxurians and itâs probably my favorite right now. I just love the texture on it, but itâs still a baby.

Can you share your care secrets?
1 gilla Itâs honestly just stems down to consistency and getting used to the watering regimen. I pretty much, provide 12 hrs of light, I donât use humidifiers or anything, but I do use cabinets to trap a relative humidity of 70-80, these guys will do fine in ambient tho. For watering I use the generic clear tower pots, I feed with every water and clean the leaves every so often. Thatâs pretty much it :)
