Hi Plant beginner here. I’ve had my plant for a year and a half. All the original flowers fell off last year and he isn’t growing any new ones. How do I get him to grow new flowers?

    Hey, I’ve got something of the like and from what I’ve learned from mine is that it loves water twice a month, indirect bright light (like early morning sun through a window and then just brightness from that same window or a bright grow light it can look at between 12-14hs), tropical soil, light fertilizer twice a month during growing season (alternate with watering, every other week you water, every other week fertilize with water), humidity (55+) and a little heat (70-80f). Yes is a little much but it needs neglect and TLC at the same time lol.. oh and repot every 2-3 years, it likes to be slightly root bound, hope this shine some light and if I missed anything please add to this list lol…. need all the info for science!!!! 😂

      I replanted it in March as roots were coming through the old pot. I’ll move it closer to the window and see if it helps but I’m in UK so warm days are a bit limited 🤣

    Boost your humidity if you can and definitely add a grow light. It may need more fertilizer than what it is getting. Looks healthy though!

      Yeah, there’s plenty of new shoots. Just disappointed they’ve all been leaves so far

    I’ve noticed these guys resold well to 20-20-20 fertilizer, and a tad more frequently than typically
