Ordered this crystallinum online and it arrived like this! What are all of these white splotchy things and how do I keep her from yellowing and crisping on the edges? She is in a cabinet with the humidity above 90 and the temperature is consistently 75 to 78 . Maybe I’m not keeping her wet enough? Ignore how wet the pot looks currently I literally just watered her two seconds ago.
Most nursery or over seas do not demineralize their water. So it's probably mineral buildup from watering. It should wipe off with a leaf shine/cleaning mixture
1 like If it was shipped it's going to go through some shock. If they don't wipe off and look internal, ot could be spider mite damage
2 likes I think it is I’ve tried to gently wipe off and it doesn’t work! I’ve never had them on houseplants so I guess now I know. Oh yay 🤣 Thank you!!
0 likes Some one on here was saying they worked at a plant store and they used a vinegar dilution, to chemically break them down, and swore by it. I've seen varying measurements, but I'd start low since vinegar is not plant friendly full strength. Like a 1/2- 1/4 teaspoon per 32 oz of water

0 likes Oh no! Is it progressing super fast? Like you see more the next day? Or just seeing more over a week. If it's super fast it's probably bacterial, if not than fungal. Either way ypu could use Physan-20 it treats bacterial and fungal

0 likes Okay awesome! We will see! I would say most of the leaves are infected, except the newest one. Should I chopped the rest? Is the whole leaf infected or just the spots? Thank you so so much for all your help always ! I appreciate it so much
1 like It's always hard for me to chop leaves of they are still green and useful. Especially cuz ive chopped and then the leaf i left gets worse than the others and I have an existential crisis and no leaves at all lol. But if they look bad, I would. Or at least trim the bad bits off. Make sure to sanitize with alcohol in between
