I have a mature Anthurium which recently had her largest leaf turn yellow. I put her on a grow light because I know she wasn’t getting enough sun. But now I’m noticing another leaf is turning yellow. I pulled her from her pot and she’s not root bound, but I thought it might be a good idea to use a different potting soil for her; what is the best kind of potting soil to use for my plant? Also, any other ideas on why she’s having leaves turn yellow? I don’t think it’s a pest problem because I can’t see anything. I also use filtered water. and I only water her when the top of the soil is dry so she is somewhere between dry and moist. TIA for any info regarding this lovely girl. 😊💚🪴

      It’s seems you’re doing well. Two things could be you are overwatering. Do you use a meter or a bamboo stick to check or the leaves are just old? As far as the soil goes I use soils mixed from rePOTme co. Hope this helps 🤔😊

      I don’t think I’m overwatering because I am super careful not to do so and I use two different water meters, and sometimes a plant stake to measure my plants, moisture levels. How often do leaves yellow because of age? I’ll check out the soil you mentioned from rePOTme to see what they have. Thanks for taking the time to give me this info. Regards… 😊💚🪴

      It depends on the age of the plant and whether it’s putting out new leaves 😊

      Would repotting my red flamingo be wise at this point, even though she’s not root bound? If so, I’ve checked the rePOTme soils and don’t know which one to purchase. Any help there? TXS 😊💚🪴

      I would not repot! I, repot only when absolutely necessary! Up to you 🙏😄 Houseplant and Tropical Classic; Cactus and Succulent Classic Potting Mixes. I mix the two together, works🪴🪴👍
