So I’ve got this little Doc F2 and I’m a little confused. Did it switch to cataphyll growth already? It seems suuupppeer tiny to already be using cataphylls. Is this normal for doc f2, or just crystallinum hybrids in general? Thanks ❤️

    Also to be clear, the leaf did NOT come out of the previous one. Instead the weird cataphyll like object came from the leaf and the newest leaf came from the cataphyll thing.

    It looks like a cataphyll to me! Do you know if this was grown from seed? Or if it was an offshoot cutting? I have a BVEP that did some weird growth where it almost seemed like it reverted from cataphyll growth back to stem growth.

      Interesting! I really have no idea, but I would assume that it’s from seed. Here’s a picture of what that emergent leaf is looking like now 😆

      I only ask since sometimes cuttings from offshoots will jumpstart towards maturity. One of my BVEPs is maybe slightly smaller than your Doc and already has an offset. (Kinda like top cuttings vs bottom/middle cuttings with philos).
