So this is a first for me. My dress turned all white but the tiny chonk is still green. I got it as a tiny seedling and the only thing I had changed was adding systemic because I was battling thrips. Has anyone had this happen? There were no thrips on this one, it was in an entirely closed container. I have other seedlings of similar size on the same shelf without the bleaching.
Could have been too much systemic, I used it in all my plants for pest prevention and my flamingo plant was so beautiful and happy and now after Bonide, she’s the only one of my plants that it affected negatively so idk 🤷♀️ it could be that is the case for its as well, I’d put her in new soil no Bonide and zero fertilizer for a while after carefully rinsing her little roots to make sure the Bonide is all off. Did you have her diagnosed with the ai in the app?
0 likes Well, those two leaves fell off like slime 🫠 I didn’t even think about putting it in a different soil without bonide or consider that it could have been too harsh; I’ve never had issues the rare times I’ve had to use it! I’ll check what it looks like when I get home. At this point, it’s either dead and switching the soil won’t make a difference, or it’s alive and this’ll hopefully help. 😭 what an expensive mistake for me to make. I moved it to a lower light area too just in case that was the issue. Since it’s a dress and they grow so slowly.
0 likes That was her before Bonide and after, after the second pic I did what I suggested to you, pruned all the dead leaves and she’s just continuing to worsen!! At this point I’m at a loss!! Keep me posted on how you handle it and the outcome, I’m curious if it was the Bonide or something else!! 🌱✨🌱
My flamingo 🦩 plant died, I was so bummed ☹️ out!!
0 likes Oh my gosh I haven’t been on here in so long, I definitely ended up murdering a bunch of my plants from a combination of either thrips getting to them or using too much bonide. This was likely too much bonide paired with bleaching
