Update on my electrocuted Magnificum (I electrocuted her with an electric fly swatter by accident about a month or 2 ago) I cut off the initial baby leaf that got immediately deformed after electrocution and now it’s putting out a very healthy leaf to the right. The Magnificum next to it in the same pot that didn’t get electrocuted put out this funky leaf that I’m holding. Thought that was a lil strange but maybe it was impacted bc their roots are tangled? FYI after these leaves harden off, I’m cutting the deformed leaf, separating them, and moving to leca since my Luxurian and Queen are doing good in leca

    Funny, i have an electric swatter too, and when I first got it, I looked up some interesting facts about electrocution of plants, and what I found was that supposedly the electrical shock (if just brief) will actually stimulate plants to move into production or growth, (similar to when a plant is stressed and how they start to produce flowers, trying to show it can survive). Who knows how much shock will stimulate them vs too much that will harm them. But thought that was interesting!
