New emergent is growing on my Besseae Aff x Forgetii and I just got this Crystallinum x Magnificum in the mail today! I also got a King of Spades x Dressleri with it but it looks so sad, I’m not sure it’s going to survive. So I don’t want to share that one. 😂 It’s funny because I used to really dislike anthuriums because I thought they all looked too much alike but now I’ve seen the light and I’m obsessed. So much so I got rid of some of my philodendron, syngonium, and calathea to make room for all the seedlings I’ve received lately. 🫣 I really want a Dark Phoenix but they’re expensive. One day I’ll get one, maybe for my birthday in November I’ll be able to find a little seedling or get a hybrid.

    Haha I totally have had the same experience of not liking a type of plant, swearing I won’t ever get one, and then falling in love with it over time 😂 I keep browsing anthuriums, but I’m afraid to let myself down that rabbit hole 🫣 So many interesting cultivars and hybrids! I did cave and get a small luxurians at an orchid show and a discount hookeri at a big box store. But I’m trying to resist opening Pandora’s box too much lol… but I’m sure it’ll happen eventually 😂 I think the top of my wishlist would be a queen, one of the strap leaf types, and a mystery crossed seed to grow out for the surprise factor

      I almost ordered a Queen x Forgetii hybrid the other day but ended up going with a pap x dark form Forgetii instead. 😂 I’ll probably get a Queen after I move and can provide it with the best possible spot in the house lol.

      That’s a good point. I’d need to move in order to have room for a grown queen lol. Well I’ve seen an enormous lux before, but at the rate things are going, I think mine will be a manageable size for a while 🤞😂
